Maybe your life looks like it’s working. Maybe you’re successful, organized, present for others — and yet you still feel an underlying exhaustion and subtle inner tension.

Your breath is shallow.
You’re in constant “ready mode.”

Here is my absolute go-to practice on days when I feel this strongly:

Straw Breathing.

Inhale through your nose.
Then exhale slowly through gently pursed lips — as if you were blowing through a straw.

Let the exhale be longer than the inhale.
1–3 minutes.

So simple. And so powerful.

A long, slow exhale signals to your nervous system:
I am safe. I can soften.
