Imagine a CEO. Is it a man?

Imagine a nurse. Is it a woman?

Imagine someone speaking in a board meeting. Is it a man?

Imagine someone leaving work early to pick up their child. Is it a woman?

Imagine someone crying in the office. Is it a woman?

Now imagine a world without gender bias.

Most of these images appear in our minds automatically. Not because we consciously choose them — but because we’ve been conditioned this way for centuries. This is why we still need International Women’s Day.

Internalized patriarchy is real, ladies. It’s a structural problem and a conditioning that made women doubt their worth for generations. It made us believe we’re not enough. That we’re too emotional to lead. That we’re bad at math. That our role is mainly to care, support, and stay small. And many of these beliefs still live inside of us today. That’s why we have to keep challenging them. In the world — and within ourselves.

On March 8th, I’m hosting a special online gathering for women who want to honor and celebrate being a woman — and who are also ready to confront their own internalized gender bias. I truly hope you can join us. Because moving the needle starts with awareness. And everything is easier if done together.

Big love to you, Gabriela 🌹
